On July 11th, we hosted a highly informative General Assembly for the CuBER project. The meeting brought together partners from various work packages to discuss the latest developments and ongoing activities.
Work Package Highlights:
WP2: Scientific Milestones: In WP2, we celebrated significant scientific achievements with activities successfully completed by December 2022. Our tests on rotating disk electrodes and evaluations of charge transfer resistance have yielded invaluable results. Furthermore, our dissemination efforts, including joint publications and presentations, are making a positive impact on the community.
WP3: Mould Production and Overmoulding: WP3 provided insights into activities related to mould production and overmoulding tests in 2022. The team explored different approaches to stack construction and discussed their implications for project milestones.
WP4: Hydraulic System and Schemes: WP4 showcased updates on hydraulic system configuration and 3D/2D schemes. We eagerly anticipate the upcoming EMS and BMS integration tests, which are crucial steps in the development process.
WP5: Testing the Battery Prototype**: WP5 discussions revolved around the challenge of testing the battery prototype, considering dependencies on manufacturing in WP3 and WP4. Finding effective solutions to this challenge is vital to staying on track with the project timeline.
Battery Passport Presentation: Our Battery Passport presentation was a highlight, outlining its objectives and data requirements in accordance with EU regulations. The Battery Passport is a pivotal tool for creating a digital twin of a physical battery, providing essential information for sustainability and lifecycle assessments.
Communication Efforts in WP8: We’re proud of the significant growth in our website and LinkedIn activities as part of our communication efforts in WP8. Sharing our progress with the community is essential as we work towards a more sustainable and greener future.
